Another Montane Kielder 100 organised by Sip Events.

Our congratulations to Grant Adamson from Newcastleton for completing 100 miles. Well done Grant!

Events like these put Newcastleton on the map and bring future visitors to our lovely village.

It was tremendous to see the smiles through the pain from the riders when they reached the 65 mile point at Dykecroft as they were greeted by a piper and cheers and claps from supporters.

Rock UK did a tremendous job helping with organisation, supply of “passports” and manning the time check point.

Behind the scenes Newcastleton Business Forum worked with Kielder and the SFC to complete the preparations. These events need support in the planning stages and even more so on the day. It was good to see locals turn out to cheer on.

Our thanks also to the residents and farmers of Dykecroft area for their consideration to the safety of the riders on the day.
